Singer/songwriter Peter Hadar will be releasing an arsenal of new music projects this spring; starting with his long awaited drum-n-bass album ’2 Seconds From Being Committed’ on May 24th, under the name ‘Mathematics vs Peter Hadar’, with longtime producer Mike Genato’s duo. The collaborative project created when Hadar & Genato first started working together in 2003, is lead in by the emotional high from first single ‘Loud & Soft’. Well before its time, and often delayed, they finally decided to release the album amongst the current progression of R&B.
Although that album has been finished since 2007, Hadar has spent the last year completing his fourth project ‘Take Off Victoria’ and a follow up EP ‘Entrees Gourmet’. For both projects, he branched out and worked with all new producers including NesbyPhips (‘Dancin’) and The GTW, who produced TOV’s first single ‘Your Body, which will be released May 3rd. The results are two sexy, intensely sharp, and expansively progressive interpretations, of all that feels good and is beautiful.
Since the Valentine’s Day ’09 release of his last EP ‘She’s 4 Months’, Peter Hadar has also been busy producing series of live showcases in the NY/NJ area; performing with his band Indie Movie, in front of enthusiastic crowds, that delivered 2 standing ovations this fall. The first, at Dame Dash’s ‘Under 100′ on the bill with Dame Funk. The second at Brooklyn’s SouthPaw, that culminated in an 80′s style dance-off, in a center circle formed as the audience went crazy over second single ‘Dancin’. These intimate shows have won a wide array of new fans, and are a way for him to fully connect to his audience, so they can truly experience the anomaly that is Peter Hadar.
Hadar not only curates live productions from under his branding & lifestyle company The Honors Program, it is also the design capsule behind his monthly networking mixer in his native Newark NJ called ‘Art On Bricks’, and his video series with media partner CreativeControl.tv called ‘Urgent Magnificence’. This interview type show will share more of Hadar’s passion for fashion and creativity, as he speaks with assorted style influencers.
