Spring is among us, and while I’m a bikini girl, I still love the warm weather! Pastels are in (even they’re too “Easter” for my personal preference) and new colors are breaking onto the scene. Spring is all about showcasing your ability to be creative with any given color combo; this means incorporating prints, using cultural influences, and being BOLD! This is the perfect time to get crazy and throw new looks together while trying to recreate old ones.
For beauty products, this means putting your best face forward. A fresh face for springtime can be the perfect accessory, if you know how to accessorize! I’ve chosen five products that I think are perfect for giving you a casual, flirty look for spring time.
1. Clinique Chubby Sticks ($15).
I haven’t gotten around to ordering these, but trust and believe they WILL be mine. Clinique is a great beauty company that sells quality products for an affordable price. These sticks are probably one of the best lip products I’ve seen to hit the market. Chubby sticks are lip balms that are super moisturizing. What makes this product different from your average 99₵ Chapstick is the Mango and Shea butters that are infused into the balm. Mango and Shea butters are great for moisturizing not only the skin, but the hair as well. These sticks come in eight different shades, and will leave your pursed lips smooth and supple.

2. Benefit Moon Beam ($24).
When I first started to really get into makeup, I always wondered how models got that “dewy” look… the light looks like it hits the face perfectly and doesn’t make you look oily.
Moon Beam is a complexion enhancing illuminator.
You simply highlight your cheeks with this product and it makes a great complement to blushing cheeks, even if they’re subtle.

3. Hard Candy Hide and Glow Cheek ($6).
Speaking of blushing cheeks, this blush is a cream based blush that allows for easy application and blending. It come in three different sticks and all three are double sided! Not only are they affordable, they’re long lasting and give you a frisky glow.

4. Evian Hydrating Spray ($15).
This spray is perfect for girls on the go who live in dry areas, or cities. Evian formulated a spray that instantly moisturizes the skin and even keeps your makeup in tact and looking fresh. It’s not formulated with any harmful substances or chemicals; it gives your skin a burst of energy! This spray fits right in your purse and gives your skin a youthful feel.

5. Avon Moisture Therapy Body Lotion ($8).
As I child I grew up with Excema along with millions of others in the world. I’ve tried Keri, Jergens, St. Ives, Lubriderm, you name it, I’ve tried it. Not only have I tried lotions for my skin condition, I’ve yet to find a lotion or body butter that makes my skin feel properly moisturized and silky without being greasy. I found this lotion through a friend, and it’s probably the best lotion I’ve ever used, simply because it hydrates for hours. There’s no reapplication after the first use (unless you wash of course). Hands down, this is the best lotion I’ve ever used.

And that’s a wrap! Seriously, I could rave about beauty products all day and night, but I decided to limit this list to just five
. I hope you love them as much as I do, and the products I don’t have right now will be in my hands very soon!
